Angel of the Tram / and other icons

The Uniting Church Icon School is currently exhibiting at Pilgrim Theological College and The Centre for Theology and Ministry, Parkville, Melbourne. Among the icons is one, “Angel of the Tram,” by Alex Safran. Written this year, its descriptor says: “Image of a homeless man based on traditional Byzantine images of John the Baptist (who also slept rough).”
